Dr. Brian Schmid attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2003 with a degree in biology.
He then attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude, also receiving honors from the Massachusetts Dental Society and the International College of Dentists. He was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society.
Dr. Schmid completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Saint Joseph Hospital for Specialty Care/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, where he developed a particular interest in sports dentistry and treating patients with special needs. He was Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry in 2011 by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Schmid spends his free time with his wife, two children and their rambunctious spaniel Dexter. He also enjoys hiking and is an avid woodworker.
